Welcome!
Oishi Judo is one of the oldest active judo clubs in New York City. It was founded in 1969 by Shiro Oishi, who continues to teach classes and give private lessons.
You are always welcome to watch a class at no charge. You can call in advance or simply drop by. Participants will be asked to sign a waiver.
Sensei Oishi teaches on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Andrew Pernambuco and Jeff Summa teach on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Pamela Kersage joins Sensei Oishi to teach the Wednesday children's class.
Mat fee is $35.
Please note:
Children must be at least 5 years of age.
We do not offer trial classes, but parents and children are welcome to visit and watch a class before deciding whether to join.
